History
A cocktail from the American Prohibition era, named after a slang expression of the period that meant "the best". Its authorship is uncertain: it may have been created in 1921 by Frank Meier, the first head bartender at the Ritz in Paris, but a 1929 news report attributes the recipe to the American socialite Margaret "Molly" Brown, a Titanic survivor.
