- Pink grapefruit soda100 ml
Method
Pour the tequila into a highball glass and squeeze in the lime. Add ice and salt, top with the pink grapefruit soda and stir gently.

History
In Mexico, it is usually made with grapefruit sodas such as Squirt or Jarritos; the simplest version takes only tequila and the soda. The name is generally associated with the Spanish word for "dove", but some suspect it derives from "pomelo", Spanish for grapefruit.
